The Dale Carnegie franchise was launched as a way of ensuring that Mr. Carnegie’s proven tools for personal and transformative coaching can be applied across a wide segment of society – from the corporate boardroom to small business operations. As a way of reaching new avenues and to spread the Dale Carnegie message to new audiences, franchise partners all over the world celebrated October 25 as the Global Day of Giving, commemorating the company’s 106th anniversary.
Dale Carnegie Training celebrates its anniversary by introducing people to Dale Carnegie’s timeless principles, and the Global Day of Giving is dedicated to improving interpersonal relationships with youth audiences. Franchise partners from around the world invited young adults and local community members to participate in special workshops for strengthening people and communication skills, benefitting thousands of community youth, non-profit and school staff workers.
The workshops this year were especially designed to boost self-confidence and interpersonal strategies in young people as they prepare to enter the wider world. The skills they learn at the Dale Carnegie workshop are presented as a series of fun exercises, and are meant to cement the relevance of whole-person well-being in forging strong relationships in personal and professional spaces.
The Global Day of Giving is just one example of the many ways in which our franchise partners are constantly working to help others take command of their businesses, careers and futures. By developing new ways of community outreach, franchise partners nurture existing relationships with clients while developing awareness of the brand and its values among younger members of the community.
