Initial Training

New franchise partners participate in a robust initial training program through our Franchise Academy. You’ll spend up to 7 days in training at our corporate headquarters, learning how to run a Dale Carnegie business. Topics include:

  • Company history
  • Our customers and their buying journey
  • Competitive advantages of our products
  • Business planning and finances
  • Onboarding and staff development
  • Working with peers in the the franchise network
  • Global and strategic accounts
  • Brand and marketing strategy 
  • Creating a course calendar
  • Technology platform
  • Our products and instructional design philosophy

First Two Years

As soon as your training begins, you’ll partner with a member of our franchise development team to serve as your primary point of contact for operational support. This person will create a launch team to help you get your business up and running.

Your launch team will consist of subject matter experts from key areas of the company. Sales, marketing, trainer development and technology experts will work to support your franchise for the first 24 months of your business.

Contract Signing

Our agreement lays out the relationship between franchisee and franchisor, initial and continuing fees, your assigned territory and ongoing training and support. 

Launch Team Formation

A dedicated launch team will work with you for the first two years to support your franchise ramp up.

Alignment on Support Plan

In the Franchise Partner Academy, we will create alignment on your business plan, including your sales, marketing and delivery tactics. We will also build towards an agreed revenue target. 

Coaching and Training

Engage in weekly calls to answer questions about the Dale Carnegie processes.

Milestones and Measurements

We will help you create 3 month, 6 month and 12 month milestones and hold reviews of key metrics.

Marketing is essential to promote the Dale Carnegie name and the benefits of your programs. Without marketing, clients might never think about attending your programs or engaging you to train their employees because they won’t recognize the Dale Carnegie name or the benefits of your programs.

Sales and Trainer Development

When you begin to hire new staff, you’ll need to ensure that they are trained and up-to-speed on everything they’ll be responsible for in your business. Dale Carnegie Training makes the process of training new staff easier by providing Sales and Trainer Talent development programs for franchisees to utilize. Your staff can take part in these programs to learn their roles and responsibilities as well as the skills necessary to succeed in client centered consulting and training.

Ongoing Support

The development of your sales staff is an investment in the success of your company. We have created time-spaced, live online training programs that include coaching, collaboration, and cohort-based assignments in order to help you ramp up and retain sales talent. The programs are delivered on a regularly scheduled basis in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
