Training and Support

A Tailored Approach

We are dedicated to the success of our franchise network. Dale Carnegie offers a highly customized approach to training and support, based on market needs in your area and your own experience running a business. From recruiting and retaining sales staff, to budgeting and building a strong pipeline, all the way to succession planning, we collaborate with franchise partners through every stage of the business lifecycle. Each franchise partner can expect consistent support from the corporate office. As part of this support, the following services have been developed to assist you in all aspects of operating your Dale Carnegie franchise.

Initial Training

New franchise partners participate in a robust initial training program through our Franchise Academy. You’ll spend up to 14 days in training at our corporate headquarters. You will learn the basics of running a Dale Carnegie business. Some of the important outcomes of this training include the understanding and incorporation of:

  • The Dale Carnegie System
  • The Dale Carnegie Financial Model and Compliance System
  • The Dale Carnegie Marketing Model
  • The Dale Carnegie Sales and Sales Management Process
  • The Dale Carnegie Trainer Development Process & Business Support Services
  • The Dale Carnegie Technology Platform
  • The Dale Carnegie Office Management and Administration of the Franchise Program

When you’ve completed your time at the Franchise Academy, you’ll understand how to put all these practices in place in your own franchise location.

First Two Years

As soon as your training begins, you’ll partner with a member of our franchise development team to serve as your primary point of contact for operational support. This person will create a launch team to help you get your business up and running.

Your launch team will consist of subject matter experts from key areas of the company. Sales, marketing, trainer development, and technology experts will work to support your franchise for the first 24 months of your business!

Ongoing Support

Ramp Up Faster and Retain Key Talent: Sales and Trainer Development
When you begin to hire new staff, you’ll need to ensure that they are trained and up-to-speed on everything they’ll be responsible for in your business. Dale Carnegie Training makes the process of training new staff easier by providing Sales and Trainer Talent development programs for franchisees to utilize. Your staff can take part in these programs to Learn their roles and responsibilities as well as the skills necessary to succeed in client centered consulting and training.

The development of your sales staff is an investment in the success of your company. We have created time-spaced, live online training programs that include coaching, collaboration, and cohort-based assignments in order to help you ramp up and retain sales talent. The programs are delivered on a regularly scheduled basis in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

The Foundation

The Foundation is a comprehensive certification program designed for the new hire training consultant/sales representative to learn the basics of selling or the tenured training consultant/sales representative looking to further develop and master their skills.

The Sales Leader

The Sales Leader is a sales management certification program focused on the skills required in today’s market. The skills and topics covered in this training will be:

Trainer Talent Development

Trainer Academy is a series of trainer development events run by Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. for new franchisees. Your trainer candidates will learn the Dale Carnegie methodology for producing breakthrough results for individuals and organizations. We provide training support and exciting career paths for your trainers. Also, Curriculum Certification as well and Recertification Events.

Marketing Support

Marketing is essential for any type of business. Without marketing, clients might never think about attending your programs or engaging you to train their employees because they won’t recognize the Dale Carnegie name or the benefits of your programs. 

At Dale Carnegie, our Brand is very important to us. We want all of our franchise partners and their employees to embrace the brand and what it represents.

We support you with corporate marketing activities and advice to help drive awareness of the brand, generate qualified leads and ultimately sales. Your responsibility as a franchisee is to supplement corporate marketing efforts with local marketing that aligns with our Brand and helps increase to increase awareness, leads and sales.

The  Dale Carnegie Marketing Team provides support to franchisees in a variety of ways.
